I was recently told that you can’t just go to City Hall and get married anymore in Oklahoma. I wanted to know if this was true because we were actually thinking of going there to get married. So I REALLY need to know.

Is san francisco city hall strict about attending guest for civil ceremonies?
Getting married at SF city hall and online says only 6 guest just wondering if anyone has attend one before or had their ceremony there and wanted to know if they really stick to 6 max. I have about 12 guest and having a really hard time cutting it down hoping it wont be a problem……

The only question is whether the judge will allow more than six witnesses to stand next to you during the actual vows. The good news is most of them are already jovial. Weddings are a lot more fun than traffic court and arraignments. Ask politely for a ceremony in the Rotunda (where there’s more space for guests). I suspect it only becomes a problem if your wedding party starts interfering with other activities at City Hall. Just don’t have your wedding on election day or during a budget debate.
