You advocate protecting the right to privacy (there is no reasonable expectation of privacy on a public street) with theft and violating another persons right to free speech? The EMT was way out of line. I would like to hear the EMTs side of things though.

some day maybe the council members will look at the video and then ask what the heck was the EMT doing.
NOW as a EMT i know sometimes we have to undress the patients i can see him portecting the rights of the patient. (even if how he when about it is wrong.)( he should have told a police officer and let them take care of it.)

These people are all on the local level. It is their job to deal with this. Also they are not so busy that they cannot lend a minute or two to someone reporting to the public. You are right, that it is inappropriate to cast an opinion before viewing the video but Ridley is trying to inform them and the public.

I assume that these …
I assume that these people in the video would not reply to you for a few reasons: The EMT taking the camera might be considered small on their scale of work. Also, it really isn’t any business except the victim and the EMT, so I assume people naturally wouldn’t talk about it to another person. Any gossip back and forth about the incident drags out a miniscule problem. We have far greater things to worry about in our country then an EMT losing composure.
