im doing gcse(ict) in computers and in maths and english…now..

but i want to know is there anythin else i would need to do in order to get a job at the city council
i want to work in a neighbourhood office in ladywood
its not on ther website

That kind of job is to do with dealing with society and rules so its best to do A Levels in sociology, law and politics. And then you could progress to university to do a law or sociology degree. And also remember to get work experience as soon as possible that will be impressive on your CV. Good luck!

Look on their website, and if they are anything like the local councils in East London, they will ask about 100 questions on racism,if you pass that test, youre in.

I think the best thing to do is ask them. Talk to the HR department at the council.. As regards getting a job at a specific site, that would no doubt depend on what vacancies there might be.

I depends what level you want to work at. I suggest you aim for degree level if you can and then take it from there – promotion will invariably depend on your qualifications.
