This song makes me cry whenever I heard it. The two gals performing with her are sweet and perfect, just like the song. Embarrassing? Come on; lighten up and enjoy the fun of it.

I love this song …
I love this song soso much.
the other two “performers” were really bad though. their actions were so obvious. it was embarrassing.
the lyrics of this song have so much potential, and they just literally acted out the words like a couple of 5 year olds.

Yeah, it’s about …
Yeah, it’s about how the mayor of San Francisco was giving homosexual couples licenses to marry for a while…a couple years ago, before that prop. 8! Nowadays, listening to this song makes me kind of sad since prop. 8 was passed. Especially the line “if they take it away again someday, this beautiful thing won’t change.” But the song is so full of hope! Hopefully someday it will be allowed again

“As the love that’s …
“As the love that’s gonna shine, at City Hall.” Thank you so much Vienna Teng. Hopefully the masses will start learning that marriage isn’t about sexuality, it’s about love. You are a bright shining light in a world full of darkness. And lastly, congratulate whoever this song is about for me!

LOVE THIS SONG! I saw her perform it live last year and was weeping… such beautiful lyrics. If you’re not listening, the message slips right by you. But for all of us who were in San Francisco those beautiful February days when we made love-stirring history… it’s a wonderful gift.
