What is Dallas’ city manager Mary Suhm’s political party?

I’m having a hard time finding Mary K. Suhm’s political party. Dallas is 50/50 when it comes to republican/democrats so I’m honestly not sure.

Dallas is on a big time privatization road … Free ways to Toll ways, Public free markets such as Farmers Markets being privatized, Oil companies given free reign to drill in our back yards … all these point to Mary Sumh belonging to "RIPublican Party" …. I can bet my last cent on that !!!

The City Manager is a hired employee, not an elected official, so the only way of determining any bias you think she might have is to look at the people on the city council who have voted for her have expressed.

The city manager is hired by the council and does not run for election.
Her political leaning are not public knowledge.
The city council elections do not have political parties and are supposedly not affiliated with either party, although most do not hide their preferences or which party they support.
Mary will survive as long as she has the support of half the council.
